Title?

Last vacation I went to Búzios with my family to celebrate my father’s birthday and I had an awful day!!
I clearly remember it was sunshine and I went to the beach with my cousin and my brother. I took to the beach a beautiful sunglasses, but there were “some problems”: the sunglasses was not mine, it was my father sunglasses and it were new and expensive. But still went with the sunglasses to the beach.
First of all (when I was on the beach), I lost my father sunglasses. To my horror, when I was looking for his sunglasses, I stepped in the poop of a dog! Everybody around me was laughing at me. In the and when I was coming home to celebrate my father’s party, I realized that I had forgotten my watch on the beach, it was too late to go back to the beach!
At home, when my father found that I lost his sunglasses and my watch he gave me the greatest scolding of my life! From that moment, I learned to never take things for others without asking first!! And I’m not creating a stirm in a teacup!

Some countries allow sixteen years old people to drive. Others just when they are 18. It causes a polemic discussion between parents and sons. The minimum age should be or shouldn’t be reduced to sixteen?
Many people believe that if the minimum age for driving has been reduced for 16, adolescents would have more freedom. Of course, most of these people, who think like that, are adolescents. However, there are few parents that are in favor too. They say that people, who are 16, are responsible enough to drive a car. They justify their point of view taking, for example, countries like USA where sixteen years old’s people are allowed to drive. Moreover, they say that they wouldn’t have to pick up theirs sons after parties. They’d drive home by themselves.
On the other hand, most of the parents strongly disagree with that. First f all, they say that adolescents ‘d never be responsible to drive a car in this age. For them, accidents would increase. And, also, the mortality tax between people in this age would increase considerably too.
In my opinion, the minimum age for driving can be reduced for sixteen, but we’d have to have education’s projects for these young people in order to make them more responsible and avoid accidents.

In 2005, in carnival, me, my brother, my father, my friend and my stepmother were travelling to Salvador, Bahia, by car, and my uncle, who is delegate was travelling too, but he left home, also by car, one hour late.
Everything was good, except the traffic jam that was kilometer in Campos, Rio de Janeiro. More or less 1 hour congestion a local taxi drove into the back of my father's car, but as my father's car was bigger than the taxi he gave up his car’s bumper. To solve this problem, my father and the taxi driver pulled up the car and began to argue, though my father was right in history, he wanted to give 100 reais for taxi and continue the travel faster, otherwise we would come later in the local, but the taxi driver called the local police .
After 30 minutes the Police came in the local and my uncle came too. Fortunately the policeman was an old friend of my uncle, so the two searched all the documents of the taxi and saw that everything was wrong, he couldn’t drive.
So the man who was winning 100 reais ended having his car stopped and a huge debt. And we continue the travel that was so good!

Leonardo's Profile

My name is LEONARDO LANNES, I'm 16 years old. I'm a student despite the fact that I don't like study and wake up 6 o'clock everyday.I live in Niterói, the best city in the world.
Only one time. I lived in another city, when my dad was transfered to Singapore for 1 year to work. We live there with many brazilians family. I think that was the best year because I did'nt study. But, could be the worst year as I was homesicked of Niterói.
In Niterói, I live near a stadium of football that all weekends I go to see Botafogo(the best team of course)... I love football, but I don't play very well.
I'm very sociable! I have many friends and I go to parties all weekends. I like very much!
I'm planning to graduate in a public university. After, I want to live 6 months in USA to pick up my English.

I wanna be the chosen one.

I was born in Niterói but I grew up in the sands of África. I come from a huge family whose english is quite fluent because half of my relatives are americans and another half brazilians. As I spent most of my childhood with animals and people who have diseases of high levels of damages like AIDS I’ve always been interested in scientific research. And nowadays I’m graduated in immunlogy and microbiology , and due to it hobbies are being in front of a microscope and observe animal life in it’s hábitat. So I hope to find the cure for câncer and AIDS one day . But my life is not all related to work, sometimes I need a break, so I go surf here in South Africa and meet new people, it’s indeed what I plan to do in World Watch if I be chosen. I would describe this reality show as a international cultural interchange and I as a person who seeks it.

One day, I went to night club to celebrate my best friend's birthday but i'd had a huge problem before: my father hadn't allowed me to go because he was thinking that it was an inapropriate place to me.
He was trying to persuade me not to go but i went. When i arrived there i met all my friends and we were enjoying together on the dance floor. When i picked up my cellphone and i realized that my dad had called me three times and i didn't answer him. When the cellphone was in my hands,it rang again and guess what?It was my father calling me to make matter's worse,he told me that he was on the way to pick me up.
Luckily,a friend of mine asked me if her mum could call my father to ocnvince him that we were in a cool and safe place. So her mother called him and, believe it or not,she ocnvinced him to let me stay.

Worst day

One day, I woke up at 8 o´clock , but in the previous day, I had been to a nightclub near my house(it was a good night, of course)...When I was taking a shower, the shower broke and the water ran out. Unfortunately, I had to rinse my hair in the washbasin. While I was eating, my plate fell down and my wife got angry. Then, I was walking to get the bus and it had already gone down this street and the next one come in the following hour. When I was on the bus, one man stole my key, money, notebook, etc.
Eventually, I arrived at work, my boss was angry and I was fired.
I went to my house, but I didn't have money, so I got a taxi to Niterói and said that I could only pay him there. Arriving in my house, I remembered that I had been mugged and I didn`t have my key anymore, so I ran away because I didn't have money to pay him.

One day, I was walking to school like I do every day. I thought this day would be an ordinary day but it wasn’t. Actually, it was one of the worst days in my life!
I remember it was a Monday, I had woken up very late because the alarm clock didn’t go off. When I was going to school I felt that something had fallen in my head but I didn’t pay attention to this. To my horror, when I got to school my friends started looking to me with weird faces and said me that I had pigeon’s poo in my head. I got so embarrassed that I immediately run to the bathroom to take that disgusting thing out. Lately in my first class, my mathematic’s teacher gave us a surprise mini-test. I haven´t studied anything yet so I got a zero.
To improve my day, my next class was physics education and I hate it with all my forces. I was trying to play football when a ball hit my face. Believe it or not, I fainted! I woke up in school’s ward 10 minutes after. They sent me home to rest but when I got there I realized that I had forgot the keys so I had to wait two hours to my sister arrives.
In the end of the day I was lying in my bed thinking: ... !

Bad Day

One day , I was at school and the teacher would give the grades of the tests , I was on cloud nine because I thought I would get a 10. To my horror I reciver the test and I got a 4 . Angry I was talking to the teacher about my grade, and she said that was my note and I'm creating a storm in a teacup. In the next class a guy that had been my friend but no longer he gave me a kick in my leg, so we had a short fight and we went to the coordinator room. Luckily he don't lifted me and I never talked to that fair-weather friend. to make matter's worse it started to rain and I didn't have the money for the bus so I have to walk in the rain to my house. When I arrived at home , I turned on the computer but it didn't work . To finish this bad day I got an headache , it never rains but it pours

One day and was in my school and I had picked up my reportcard, I was sad to have taken a low grade in Portuguese and in physics, and I knew I will be punished. I clearly remember, when I was comingback home I saw three guys (beetwen 16~19) looking me at across the street. I was fear because was 6:30 pm and I was in Itapuca, the most dangerous place in Ingá. 5 minutes later that three guys robbed me. To make matter´s worse when I in front of my home door I realized that I had lost the keys. I waited 2 hours my mom and to my horror she had lost the keys too. That day we (my mom and I) slept in my neighbor's house, she was very friend of our family and we didn´t saw any problem in woke up she to help us. Next day everything was alright, 3 extras keys to each one and I wasn´t punished because i was robbed.

It isn´t a real story.

this story happened with me and a friend. We found we had a jerk in common.
My friend Natasha told me that she met a lovely guy last summer and they were dating.Of course I got very happy about this and I was anxious to met him too.As her birthday's party was going to happen,he wouldcome and everyone would meet eachother.
One day I was at Starbuck's read a book and drink a tea when suddenly an interesting guy asked if he could sit with myself, obviously I agree. We talked about manythings all that afternoon. In the next day I went to Starbuck's again and to my surprise he was there and I asked him if he would like to go to a party with me in the next week.He told me that he would have an other party and he couldn't go with me.
I got upset with that but I understood and we atarted to meet eachother everyday on the Starbuck's.I was thinking that we were dating and he was my boyfriend but I was completely wrong!
Natasha's birthday has come and many surprises were come too. When I arrived at my friend's party,I looked for her to give my congratulations. She was kissing a boy that I thought was her boyfriend.Unfortunately my friend's boyfriend was my boyfriend too.Belived or not,he looked at me and talked with me.I was so angry that I shouted him and told everything what was happened bettewen him and I to Natasha.
To my horror,my friend didn't believe me and asked me to leave her party.Of course I did what she told mr to do.
Finally,I discovered that she has never been my friend really. We lost contact, and he?! I chat with him everyday on MSN...

There was a time that an actor lived next to my father. It was in 2006 and I was watching TV with my sister and my stepsister when we, suddenly, heard a noise outside the apartment.
We ran to the door, to see if it was the actor, because we used to love him. The problem was that the floor made a lot of noise and he heard our footsteps. To my horror, he looked to the door and my sister ran to the fridge to pretend that the noise had came from the kitchen.
In the end, we talked a lot about that because we weren't sure if he knew that the noise was from our footsteps. It seems funny now, but at the time we were really embarrassed because he used to know us.

Last week, I went to a restaurant with my girlfriend and to my surprise my twin was accompanied by his girlfriend to the same restaurant. We do not speak personally, because our girlfriends are not friends, but we talked by phone and agreed that while I was on one side of the restaurant he was the other, each with his girlfriend. ;D
Everything was fine until the girlfriend of my brother went to the bathroom, which unfortunately was on the side of the table where I and my girlfriend was, and it did not know that my brother had a twin, I saw sitting at the table of her(my brother's girlfriend) "biggest"enemy(my girlfriend)! = O
It was a "tremendous" confusion, but luckily, soon after I said I had a twin brother and she had not believed, he cames up and proved it was a mistake!
Anyway, we just went from now saying to each other where to go. = D

The deceiving day of my life

I only regret doing one thing during my whole life, meeting that girl at the cinema. It was a Saturday night and I was with some friends, when suddenly a girl who was about sixteen years old approached me. She asked my name, but I was so silly with her beauty that I thought she was asking for the hours. I said: a quarter past eight. She laughed at my backs, but fortunately or unfortunately for me she found me funny.
Had I been aware of her personality I would never strike up with her. When we both were buying the pop corns she told me she was going to the toilet, but when she had gone I realized that she didn’t pay any of her bills. So I had to ask to one of my friends to stay in front of me because didn`t have any money to pay the sales woman, who was really irritated already with me, just as my friends were. After that I sneaked away, and went running to my home because the security saw me and pursued me for three blocks. When I got home my friends phoned and told me she never came back from the bathroom. I thought: “All this for a free pop corn”.

More and more I find myself wondering if it was all worth. A woman who pulls your leg; now a days I think it`s not.

Composition:Funny Story

One day, during my class at school I asked the teacher if I could drink some water. Believe it or not, it was the first time in the year I went out of the classroom during a class. To my surprise, when I was coming back and tried to open the door, it was stuck and I couldn't get inside the classroom. Everybody was looking at me while I tried to open it. Unfortunately, the teacher had to stop what he was doing and open it for me.

Hello! How are you doing? Long time no see you!

I’ve received your invitation for the party, and I’m really glad about it. I’d heard of the party, some friends of mine told they’re going. I really wish I could go, but I’m afraid I won’t be able to. Next Saturday my grandmother will be 81 years old, and my mother and I are going to throw a party for her. My mother said I will have to be there. All my relatives are coming, and some of them I haven’t seen for ages. Even Fernando is coming, a cousin I haven’t seen since 1997!

Well, as I can’t go to the party, we may plan to have dinner together or to go to the cinema the next weekend. My brother told me about a new movie, Parry Hoter. He thinks it’s worth watching it. We can watch it! As soon as you have an idea, call me up.

See you!
